Pesto Shrimp Pasta

Blend to combine and serve over your favourite pasta with grilled shrimp!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Vertical Roots Basil
  • 1/2 cup toasted pine nuts
  • 2 t tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

  • Grill your favorite protein, we used shrimp.
  • Cook your favorite pasta, drain and set aside.
  • Using a food processor place all ingredients in and blend well.
  • Toss pasta in the pesto, add grilled Shrimp on top and ENJOY!
