Hydroponic Lettuce is harvested and in your hands within hours! Below are some tips on how to care for your lettuce and enjoy it for days and days.
Crisp and Care
When you bring your lettuce home we suggest refrigerating it. You can place it in a plastic container or resealable bag. Keeping the roots on will not make it last longer – you can remove the roots and growing pod. Placing the roots in water will also not help or lengthen the growing process.
Keeping it Fresh
Vertical Roots lettuce has not been sprayed with any chemicals or pesticides, so there is no need to wash it. If you wish to crisp it, a light rinse and sealed ziplock in the fridge will do it.
